• Hello, all.

I’m feeling very defeated after exhausted efforts in searching for a fix for my issues tonight. I’m hoping there’s someone around with a better eye for what to do than I. I’ve fought long and hard against the battles of getting things setup just right. Now I’ve hit a snag that I cannot conquer.

My WordPress install currently has Buddypress and bbPress installed, the intended usage being a guild community website. All plugins seem to be cooperating, except for now that I’ve set a static homepage. I’ve decided to use the Site-Wide Activity as the main root page, using the WordPress settings to do so. Since I have done this, search no longer functions.

    Example: domain.com

    • domain.com/search/test
(General search for “test”, displays standard search results)
      Intended
    • domain.com/?s=test
(General search for “test”, displays Site-Wide Activity homepage with message “Sorry, there was no activity found. Please try a different filter.”)
      Current
    • (As a note: Going to domain.com/search/ redirects to the current page situation described, minus the message.)

Any and all assistance you could provide would be most graciously appreciated!
