Search bar in menu instead of search icon

On the Options tab, you have an option for: “Using Icon in menu”

Is it possible for me to edit one of the .php files, or other files to change the Icon in the menu to a search bar?

Select the menu you want to add search icon to
This will add a search icon at the right side of the menu you select. Clicking the icon will open a search box. See image below
