You got a point my friend. I forgot about that and just added the d/m/Y format. I think that using WordPress option for date format should be better than adding an extra option for this plugin only.
What do you think?
I think it would be nice to have the WordPress Option as the default option for the plugin. It would also be nice to have two or three other basic options in addition to it though if possible since some developers may want a different display used within the plugin than how they have the date displayed on the News Archive or Individual Post. Just my two cents.
I really like the plugin! I am using it on the Home page of http://www.bbdlc.com and it definitely is a user interface upgrade.

Version 11.7 released
Added date format option, default is WordPress date format option from general settings. Also it is available as last option in select input.
