I ran a scan today and there were certain files changes to two plugins but when I searched the details it read that these changes were done by the plugim author themselves and rather than creating a tag in the repository they just changed them and to reinstall. However, I went to updates and all of the plugins are up to date.

What is wrong here. I want to fix this and not ignore.
    Many thanks.

Hi @teresacuervo, thanks for getting in touch.

The plugin author would usually have to increment the plugin version when changes are made to suppress the error, but our update to check against plugins in the WordPress.org repository is due to run this weekend. It is likely that running another scan on Monday after this has run will mean we see the updates and no longer report them as file changes.

Let me know if you see any issues!

    Peter.

    Hi,(@wfpeter)

Thank you for your quick response and this clarification. I went to see if I had the most updated version thru my website dsasboard and there were no updates available.

Good enough. I won’t worry, I thought I had to do other changes in my end.

    Thanks again,

    Teresa
