same product names

    Hello, on eshop I have products automatically imported from vidaxl. The problem is that product names of some products are same. For example product “Vysoká skrinka čierna 69,5x34x180 cm spracované drevo” I cannot change products in my shop and problem is with nearly 3000 products. I checked these products and they have different images, prices and really it is not just one product multiple times in product feed so it is not problem with the plugin. I also checked if pro version can help me with this problem somehow by adding some unique number or something else to the name of each product but I did not found anything. Can some functionality in this plugin help me with this specific problem?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching us,

    As you mentioned, some of your product titles are the same and you want them to be unique. However, you can achieve this using Attribute Mapping. Attribute Mapping allows you to extend your product title with a unique product attribute such as size, color, brand, etc. This will help you make your product title unique. But Attribute Mapping is not available in our free version.

    At the end I had to write sql script to add product id to each product name to make name unique. But problem was not in this plugin.
