I am integrating Site Kit into my wordpress site but am somehow getting a Salesforce error.

I get through most of the set up then hit this error

“The state is not correct from Salesforce Server. Try again.”

We do have our Woocommerce plugin connected to Salesforce via another plugin called WPSwings but as far as I’m aware they should not interact with each other at all.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Cameron

Thanks for reaching out Cameron. That does indeed sound most unusual. If you’d like to share the following we can hopefully determine more on this:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. A screen recording of your experience. You can use a service such as Loom or Zight to share a screen recording, while using the same form to share this privately.

Once we can view the above, we can see if there is something impacting your site URLs or the callback URLs Site Kit may use when setting up the plugin. If there are other plugins impacting setup, one possible workaround may be to use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to check whether you can complete setup with only Site Kit active. We’ll know more once we have the information requested above.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.

Morning @jamesosborne I have completed the form above to share the Site Health information but I forgot to include the screen recording which I have linked below.

Many thanks for sharing the additional information @cameronblack. There are a few things I noticed that can impact Site Kit setup, however, I can’t be sure they are the cause of the Salesforce related error. I see a maintenance mode plugin active, I can see you have various A records pointing to Cloudflare servers and there could be a potential issue with some records, there could be configurations at Google Workspace level given it looks like you’re a Google Workspace user, or there could be a third party plugin conflict impacting setup.

To troubleshoot this further, please follow the steps below:

    1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
    5. Attempt to set up Site Kit once more.

Let me know how you get on with the above. Should the same occur, we can try to connect Site Kit from another administrator account using a standard gmail account, or test to see if the same occurs if Cloudflare is temporarily paused. Thank you.

Morning @jamesosborne, I managed to get Site Kit activated using the Health Check Plugin as suggested.

    Thanks very much!
