Please mention this thread’s URL and that Mihai has suggested you to ask for a patched package.module.mvc.php file.

I also still have this issue with my bitnami wordpress container and the latest versions 3.39 and 3.41.
My current workaround is using version 3.37 until it is fixed. You can download the package and install it to replace it with the currently installed version.

I am having the same issue. Started when I ran the auto-updater in the backend of WP. I haven’t been able to login to the backend of my WP site for a week. Email support is terrible, I must add. W keeps telling me to install a fresh install of WP, or change the name of my directory and all kinds of nonsense, instead of addressing this known issue with the plugin. My latest reply to W via email:
“Your replies make no sense. Please stop asking me to do a bunch of busy work. This is a known issue with your plugin. Please send me a quick patch or instructions to get my backend back up and running. Do NOT ask me to do any more busywork. The issue is your plugin, not where WP is installed etc. This all started when I ran the auto-update for the next gen gallery plugin. There is a bug in it. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/runtimeexception-thrown-with-version-3-4-1/ Please send me an old, safe version of the plugin to install, or a patch to fix the bug in your latest version.
