• The Mailmunch app is easy to install, but their documentation did not inform me that when they added a name to my new product mail list, they would remove that name from other existing lists. You would think this would be properly documented! I lost hundreds of names from dozens of other lists.

No-one can help me restore my lists. I asked Constant Contact for help but they refused as I did not use their native app. Constant Contact claims that Mailmunch is a “shoddily built API that uses capturing based on cached data”

So, neither Constant Contact nor Mailmunch really gives a damn about their customer.

We do apologize for the inconvenience but the option titled “Replace existing Contact with New One” that was selected in your account worked as intended. It replaced your Existing contact in the Constant Contact account with the new contact recorded through your MailMunch form. This option is offered by Constant Contact API and implemented as is by MailMunch.

Contacts are not unique to a subscribers list, they are unique to an account and a single contact can exist on multiple lists as you correctly pointed out.

I am sorry if this was somehow misinterpreted. We would love to assist you with recovering these contacts but unfortunately, they were replaced in your Constant Contact account and only folks over at Constant Contact can recover them for you.
