Romero support isn’t present?

Installed this plugin for the Romero support, but after activating, I don’t see anything resembling the screen shots to adjust the styles for Romero visually.

Other than in the Customize pane, does the UX surface anywhere else?

Hi there – thanks for the message.

The settings will only appear in the ‘colors and fonts’ section of the customizer.

I’ve just tested the plugin with Romero and it worked as I expected. Could you give me a link to your site, or a screenshot of what you see so that I can see if I can work out why it’s not displaying properly?

Howdy, thanks for the reply!

I expected to be able to adjust all the colors in a supported, premium theme. I’ll link the screenshot so you can see three of them are blocked. Since it’s a virgin install of Romero hosted by WordPress.com on a business plan, I was hoping it would work 100%. 😉

Ah ok – you didn’t say this was on WordPress.com

That screenshot you showed me is not using Styleguide. It’s using the custom colours that WordPress.com add to themes.

To get these changes you will need to talk to the WordPress.com support team. They look after these colours.

If you have any other problems I would recommend either contacting WordPress.com support or posting in the Romero premium theme forum: https://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/pro-theme-design/romero/

You should get a quicker response then.

In fact if you post about this issue in the forum now then I might be able to get the theme team to look at this for you which may be quicker. I can certainly ask them to look into it.
