    Hello,
    Thanks for a great plugin.
I’m having issues restricting posts using a custom Elementor post template.
I have created a single post template using Elementor Theme Builder for a custom post type and need to be able to restrict the posts with different subscription plans. At the moment, the only way to restrict is to select the plan on the Elementor template page, it doesn’t matter what I select on individual post pages, everything is visible unless I edit the template.

This would be fine if I only had one plan, but there are several plans and I need to be able to restrict the posts differently.

Is there are way to make this work?

I found a way to make this work by using a separate post template for each subscription plan, and defining them by a custom taxonomy category. A bit more work, but it seems to do the job in my case.

    Hi @stockvault,

Glad to hear you have found a solution for this issue.

Still, I want to mention that if you go to Paid Member Subscriptions -> Settings → Content Restriction. In the “Type of Restriction” field, select “Template”, and in the Template setting, choose the Elementor template you wish to use. For example, when creating that Elementor template, you can set its “Type” to “Page”.

Now, if you apply Content Restriction through the PMS Content Restriction meta-box, make sure to leave the Type of Restriction set to “Settings Default”, as this is related to the selection we made earlier in the plugin’s settings.

This might be an alternative solution for what you’re trying to achieve.
