Restrict All Posts in Category Without Restricting Category

Is it possible to restrict all the posts in a category while still allowing all users to access the category itself? If I put a restriction on the category, it prevents users from seeing the term and accessing the category page. I don’t want to restrict the term, but I want all the posts within it to be restricted? Is this possible?
