    Hello @pramuktha ,

The backup file is not available on the link that you used for super-quick migration.

Please upload the backup file manually to the new site, and then run the Restore. You can manage all of this on the plugin screen “Manage & Restore Backups”

    Kind regards

Then WHY does the plugin say the backup is complete with a smiling emoji? Then it gives the restore link and shows the option to download it. If the backup is not complete, then it should say not. but it always says the backup is complete, but can not download the backup file. There is something wrong internally in the plugin.

    Hello @pramuktha ,

I did not say that the backup is invalid, just that the backup file is not reachable on the specified link. This could be due to various website settings, outside of our plugin. As there can be a number of reasons for that, and I just wanted to skip the speculations and save you some time, and that is why I suggested the manual upload of the backup to the destination site.

    You can also try this:

On the site where you made the backup:

    1. Go to our plugin settings and open “Other options” section
    2. Enable alternate download method: https://prnt.sc/1slr41w
    3. Save that section
      – No need to make new backup

Now, go to the site where you want to restore your backup:

    1. Open “Other options” section as well
    2. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    3. Save that section
    4. Force both processes to stop: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
    5. Try to run the migration again with the same URL

If you suspect that there is something wrong with the backup file itself, please feel free to send us an email with the valid download link for it, and the debug log from the source site, that can be found in the plugin section Troubleshooting > Check advanced options. The email you can send this to is support at backupbliss dot com.

In every case, our team would be happy to investigate the matter further and solve it for you.

    Kind regards
