Hello sherii20,
Unfortunately, there is no option in the plugin to be able to add a reset button in the sidebar which removes all the filtering options. However, a page refresh would probably do the trick. You would have to update the plugin files for that. You could try adding a button and just refresh the page on button click. You could use the following link for help: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29884654/button-that-refresh-page-on-click
To add the button you would have to update the Shortcodes.php file in the Functions folder.
Best regards,
Hi, Thanks for your reply, as you said I have to customize shortcode.php but I want to ask if I will update plugin it will it replace shortcode.php file and we will loss customization. Is there anyway to customize shortcode.php without any hassle of update plugin. we have hundreds of sites to manage so we won’t know when we need to keep checking and replacing the shortcode.php file.
Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks
Hi sherii,
There’s no way to do that. We’d suggest copying the changes you made and then pasting them in if you update the plugin.
Oh okay, that’s not good, it could create security issues. By the way, thanks for your reply.
I agree that a setup like “Child Theme” files that are not overwritten with updates would be helpful.
Also if you implement that Reset button, would you pls be willing to share?
thx
