    Our users are older and don’t know to check their spam for an activation code. This makes it difficult because the time to “Activate” is relatively short. Is there a way to “resend the activation code”?

    I know that we can activate the account for them, but that defeats the purpose of verifying and activating an email address.

    Thank you for your question. When using the email verification method, the verification email cannot be resent manually by the admin—for security and consistency, only the user can trigger a resend.

    If a user clicks on their verification link after it has expired, they will be redirected to a verification page that automatically detects the expired token. On this page, they’ll be presented with the option to resend the verification email.
