Nikolaiii, are there many different shortcodes? I mean if there is only one you could maybe perform an “edit value” action on it and replace the code with an empty string?
Hi Michel,
Well we have at least one gallery for each product in the description field, so that won’t be an option for us…
Could you give me a few examples of how your shortcodes look?
Here is a copy/paste from the XML feed generated by Woocommerce Google Product Feed Manager
<g:description>
<![CDATA[
The water resistant rain cover protects your bags and its content from getting wet.
[gallery columns="6" link="file" ids="1763,1762"]
]]>
</g:description>
If you send me a message to michel(at)wpmarketingrobot.com (I need your mail address) I will send you a patch tomorrow that will filter out these galleries.
In the next update I will include an option in the settings page to filter WordPress galleries out of the descriptions.
Thank you Michel, I just sent you a message to the email you just gave.
Yes I got it.
Just to be sure I make the correct patch, you are using the free version right?
Nikolaii, I mailed a .zip file to you that should remove the gallery shortcuts from the description text.
Please let me know if it works correctly or not,
That’s working Michel! Thank you again for the great work on that plugin!
