I am testing the plugin, and I have posts that show up on my timeline. I have moved them to ‘draft’ and even then they show up on Mastodon. I have removed the ActivityPub plugin and they still show. What is the correct course of action to delete the profile and posts and re-start fresh?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @tamiel 👋

the right way to delete a post from the fediverse is the same as local: you have to put it into the trash (delete). But be sure to keep in trash for a bit, so that the plugin is able to send the delete first.

Works! Thanks! As a follow-up, is there:

    1. any way to push a command to remove posts?
    2. delete the complete profile, removing all posts and start from scratch?

you can use the WP-CLI to remove posts

    wp activitypub post delete <id>

if you delete the whole provile, you can’t be use it any more… deleting profiles might be irrevocable on platforms like mastodon, so your handle will be blocket then (at least for a certain period of time), that is why the plugin is very conservative when it comes to deleting things…
