I have seen this on multiple occasions. Simply put, if WPScan flags a plugin with a vulnerability and the user then uninstalls that plugin, the vulnerability won’t clear with a manual scan. Obviously the line the plugin was on will be gone, but the summary box will still indicate something “Requires your attention” and the admin menu will still have a flag.

    Hi,

Do you still have the issue ?

I was not able to reproduce. I installed a vulnerable plugin, ran a scan which flagged the plugin, then deleted the plugin and ran another scan which cleared the flag.

If you still have the issue, could you provide the related plugin slug/name please ?
