Remove duplicate X
-
The Twitter button looks like X X (Twitter). How can we get rid of the second x?
Thanks

When that happens, it is often some CSS coming from the theme or another plugin that may need to be overridden. If you can provide a link to an affected post I can try to help troubleshoot.
Thanks for the response.

And then I think woocmeerce custom code affects it on product pages (same X), now a color css issue88 Key Digital Piano Semi Weighted Electronic Keyboard Piano Wizard Academy

Ah, I see–sorry, that’s actually because of the label now showing both the new network name (X) and the old one (Twitter). It does seem redundant but it seemed like the best way to handle the name change.

Are you able to tell why the CSS gets overwritten?
Sorry, it’s not a CSS issue at all–it’s actually the name/label for the network. The label is currently “X (Twitter)” because the new name is technically just X, but everyone seems to continue referring to it as “X, formerly known as Twitter”. So the label is for consistency with the world in general, I guess, although it could technically be updated to just X, in which case the button, when labels are showing, would look like just X X. So it’s a bit of goofiness because of the network name and icon being the same.
I’m sorry, I am talking about the appearence. The CSS is overwritten on certain pages.
Okay, I see some CSS that may be in a Divi customizer tool of some sort that’s overriding the CSS:
.woocommerce #content input.button, .woocommerce #respond input#submit, .woocommerce a.button, .woocommerce button.button, .woocommerce input.button, .woocommerce-page #content input.button, .woocommerce-page #respond input#submit, .woocommerce-page a.button, .woocommerce-page button.button, .woocommerce-page input.button {
background: #cc3333 !important;
border-color: #d02c21 !important;
color: #fff !important;
text-shadow: transparent !important;
}That CSS is overriding the styling for most buttons on a page that has a
woocommerceorwoocommerce-pageclass.Right. The question is WHY and how to fix.
Even if I remove the woocomerce css, it is still overwritten
