Remove 4 footer columns

    Hi,

    I am using Vega on a 2nd website. I am having problems removing the 4 column footer (Pages/Recent Posts/Categories/Meta) altogether, not sure what setting i used on my first site to accomplish this. Can you please point me in the right direction? I didn’t add widgets in appearance/widgets. The only difference between my first and second site is that the first does not display Footer Col 1/2/3/4 in Appearance/Customize/Widgets, while the 2nd site does. Not sure how to remove it there.

    Hi @ertca,

    Thanks for getting in touch about this, and thank you for using Vega!

    It looks like you may have already resolved this, is that correct? I’m only seeing a couple of widgets now.

    If you’re still having trouble finding widgets that you didn’t add, the first step would be to check under General Setup in the customizer to ensure that demo mode is not enabled.

    Let us know if you’re still having issues and I’m sure we can get to the bottom of it.

    Hi Steven,

    Your reply pointed me in the right directions, under General Setup. Not the demo mode, but Hide Footer Widgets did the trick.
