Register _siderbar_widget error

    Hello,

    Currently Using WP V4.6.1 I get the following error:

    Notice: register_sidebar_widget is deprecated since version 2.8.0! Use wp_register_sidebar_widget() instead. in /web/htdocs/www.maxbelloni.com/home/wp-includes/functions.php

    Disabling Wassup the error disappears, and re-enabling it make the error appearing again.

    This forces me to disable the plugin.

    May this be corrected i a new version?

    Wassup may have caused this error to be displayed (instead of being suppressed), but it is not the source of the error. The current version of Wassup does not use the ‘register_sidebar_widget’ function, so the error must be from another plugin or from your WordPress theme.

    Try use the Log Deprecated Notices plugin to find out the true source of this error.
