@rummagerunner This appears to be a support request, not a review. I have moved to from reviews to support.
Hi @rummagerunner,
Thanks for reporting this! Since the plugin is new, we need a bit more info to see what Reddit is rejecting.
Could you share:
- One example product description (you can remove sensitive details, we just need to see what kind of HTML is in it).
- How do you create your product content — Classic Editor, Block Editor, or a page builder?
- Any plugins that change product descriptions (SEO plugins, formatting plugins, page builders, etc.)?.
This will help us check whether Reddit truly requires plain text only or if the plugin is mis-flagging normal WooCommerce HTML.
Thanks!
Hi @saivutukuru ,
Same issue with our site. Details below:
- Product description is just using standard HTML tags – just these: <h3> <u> <a href>
- Created using standard product editor within WordPress: post.php?post=10&action=edit
- We have an SEO plugin but the product CSV file created by Reddit doesn’t show any unusual HTML
In addition, it appears that the plugin isn’t handling product variations at all. The CSV file has one row of data even though the product has three variations. Furthermore the stock level shows “out of stock” even though two of the three variations are in stock.
Hi @blacknetau,
Thanks for sharing those details. To keep things organized and ensure your specific case gets proper visibility and tracking, could you please open a new support thread for your site with:
- A link to your site (if possible)
- A sample product with variations
- The CSV export generated by the plugin (or a screenshot)
We follow this approach as a best practice so that each issue can be troubleshot independently and resolved more efficiently.
Once you’ve opened the new thread, feel free to tag us there and we’ll be happy to help further.
