    Hello Duplicator Support Team,

I am experiencing a critical issue while trying to use Recovery Point in Duplicator, and I urgently need your assistance.Problem description

When I set a Recovery Point, Duplicator shows the following error message:

It is impossible to verify the list of engines in the database.

After this error appears, I am unable to continue the recovery or restoration process. Why this is critical

The backup file contains very important source code, and at the moment I cannot access or restore it. I am concerned about potentially losing this source code if the Recovery Point cannot be validated. What I have already tried

    • The Recovery Point was created successfully, but verification fails.
    • The error occurs consistently and blocks further steps.
    • The backup archive itself still exists.

    Questions

    1. What does “impossible to verify the list of engines in the database” mean in this context?
    2. Is this related to database corruption, PHP/MySQL version incompatibility, or a known Duplicator issue?
    3. Is there any way to manually extract or recover the source code from the backup archive (ZIP/DAF) without using the Recovery Point feature?
    4. Are there recommended steps to bypass or fix this verification step so I can proceed with the restore?

I would greatly appreciate your guidance, as this backup contains critical project code.

Thank you very much for your support and time.

    Kind regards,
