Just to clarify; I assume you mean an option to tell the viewer not to enlarge the image beyond the actual image size (and of course keep the aspect ratio)? I agree that this will be a reasonable viewing option to have and assume it can be available in the next version soon due.
Meanwhile, you may try to deselect “Cut off image” to prevent filling the view but this will still enlarge the image beyound actual size if window is bigger.

Yes that is what I mean -an option where the image will not be enlarged beyond original size (as actually images like mine -that a resize down to save server space -look bad when enlarged. Maybe a 4th. option? Just a thought). And yes -aspect ratio must be kept.

Hi again,
Then you can try the last update of the plugin. Checking the checkbox “Keep actual image size” in the plugin admin panel should prevent enlarging image beyond actual size. You may also specify a Max square size used in view style 1.

I hate to point out another issue -not a very big thing -but when I choose to show ‘captions’ it say only ‘no title’. I have to move my captions to ‘Alt. text’ -Then it shows in the light box. Maybe this is an easy thing to fix? Easier than for me to copy all my Captions? 🙂 Let me know.

Hi – the plugin is looking for captions in several ways, not only through the alt-tag. How is the captions defined in the HTML? If you have a link to a page that has the captions defined it would be useful. I’m sure it should be possible to extract it in some way if they are present in the page.

Kan vel skrive norsk nå 🙂 Det ser ut til at captions legges ut in et <figcaption>-element. Pr i dag tas ikke dette hensyn til. Burde ikke være noen stor jobb å få fikset dette, skal prøve å få sett på det i løpet av uka.

Hei, da kan du prøve ut siste versjon. Merk at captions ikke finnes på sidene dine, du må slå på Captions i Justified Grid pluginen (som jeg antar du bruker) for å få dette inkludert.

(Jeg bruker ‘Justified Gallery’ -men jeg må aktivere deres innebygde ‘Photoswipe’ for å se valg vedr. Captions der.)

Har installert Justified Gallery 1.5.0, slått på Captions og satt “disable lightbox”. Det fungerer greit så vet ikke helt hva som er forskjellen. F.eks. her: https://www.image-projector.com

Jeg har gjort det samme. Og Captions har vært på hele tiden.
En ting som er litt rart -i de tilfellene jeg ikke bruker JG -f.eks. blog og HOME/forside -der funker ikke Captions -må skrive i ‘Alt’ feltet -da synes det.
Jeg bruker SiteOrigin som page builder og lurer litt på om din plugin er helt venn med den? For på de få blogg-innleggene viste lightboxen kun noen bilder i den respektive bloggen -samtidig som den viste det først bildet i NESTE blogg.. dette skjønte jeg ikke noe av 🙂
Men jeg har løst det ved å legge inn en egen grid-rekke nederst som sier ‘Watch in lightbox’ -da forholder den seg kun til bildene som legges i den griden. I tillegg har jeg måttet deaktivere de store bildene ved hjelp av et ID i ‘class’ -kun et tall-som gjør at de ikke har linker. Før det aktiverte lightbox seg når jeg klikket selv om linken var fjernet! -cursor kun var en pil (ikke pekefinger)!..
Vet ikke om det jeg beskriver er forvirrende ) -men hvertfall:
Jeg har nylig gjort om hele siden min fordi jeg måtte sparke ut en gallery-plugin -igjen! Og satser nå på kun native wordpress gallery. Dermed forsvant alle tidligere captions som kun fantes i det galleriet! -derfor legger jeg inn slikt på nye bilder -og eldre på nytt etter hvert som det trengs..
Så poenget er -Jeg skriver inn ny tekst på ‘alt’ eller caption’ ettersom hvor jeg er -blog eller galleries. Så er alt bare vel! 🙂 Jeg må gjenta at plasseringen nå er mye bedre!
Og i det hele tatt liker jeg plugin’n din veldig godt! Jeg hadde ikke behøvd gjøre noe av det jeg beskriver om jeg hadde brukt f.eks. Photoswipe. Den viste kun innhold i respektivt blog-innlegg -uten å gå seg vill 🙂 ..
MEN som sagt -jeg ønsker å bruke Image Projector! og satser på å tilpasse til den. Nevner bare disse tingene i tilfelle det kan være til noe hjelp for deg senere.
Til slutt et lite ønske for fremtiden -om mulig: 🙂
Valg for ‘Full screen’ (ikke skjermdekkende bilde selvsagt! 🙂 -men blank skjerm (uten nettleser) med bilder og piler. Ikke superviktig men hadde vært en bonus 🙂
