    Hi,

I just have a quick one..
When I disable WP core updates. Lets say i disable it for a longer period of time, and several new updates have arrived to the WP core. – Will i then be able to enable updates and update through all of the previous WP updates? Or will i run into trouble if I have too old of a version of WP core at that point?

    Thank you for helping out!
    Regards

    Hi imielsen,

once you disable the plugin, WP will immediately check for updates again, so you will be able to update any outdated plugins, themes or WordPress itself.

You just basically skip all the plugin/theme/core update versions between the current version you have installed and the latest version available.

So, let’s say you still have version 1.0 of a plugin installed, and there’ve been version 1.0.1, 1.1.0, 1.2.0 and 1.3.0 you will be asked to update directly to version 1.3.0 without having to update to 1.1.0 and 1.2.0 first.

    Best,
    Oliver
