What would make this plugin even easier to use for large batches (or updating old sites with existing posts), would be if you had a checkbox on the Posts/Pages > Quick Edit panel for “show on piecal”

Assuming this is an area Core allows you to put stuff

As it stands, I need to open every post in a new window to go back and add them all to piecal

Although it’s not a natively supported feature, Pie Calendar does work with popular plugins such as Admin Columns. thank you! always nice to find community solutions that are working for people. the best part of wordpress 🙂

PS: really love your approach to ANY post working with piecal… makes it super powerful for those of us doing custom sites for clients. def evaluating and will end up reccoing PRO version to clients if its simpler and more minimalist than OTHER cal plugins 😉

Your sidebar approach is genius. There’s nothing more annoying than gallery or cal plugins that have a whole diff admin section when you just want to add a few simple items!

Looked closer at Admin Columns and the custom solution and neither adds any editable fields to Quick Edit unfortunately (maybe the Pro version sort of does). The search continues or I’ll have to start vibe coding LOL

For anyone wanting to show all 4 main piecal fields on the posts admin page (if you’re useing piecal in the standard way), here i’ve included code that shows all 4: https://github.com/craiggrella/piecalendar-admin-columns/issues/1

It’s not editable in the admin columns yet, but after consulting gemini (ha) it seems pretty easily to modify the code to do that.
