Same here! Would love to start using this with Gutenberg
We’ve also been using this plugin for several years. Having a version ready for Gutenberg (WordPress 5.0) would be greatly appreciated.
Merci!
Gutenburg can be installed and activated now, as a separate plugin. Unfortunately, I cannot make this fantastic plugin work within Gutenburg. The Gutenburg plugin offers a gallery block, which is very bland and uses a new type of syntax that is not compatible with this plugin.
There is a block for the Jetpack tiled gallery (See Here) but it apparently does not show up as an option unless the actual jetpack plugin is installed. I have tried installing the gallery within a classic WordPress editor block, but with no luck there either.

I was able to get this plugin to work with Gutenburg, however, it has to be manually done. Placing code similar to the following in a “classic” block, an “HTML” block, or a “shortcode” block will allow this plugin to still work:
[gallery link="file" type="rectangular" ids="6048,25869,25870,25917,31078,38067,38176,38180,38183"]
The numbers are the WordPress ID numbers for the images. In order to get this, I first made the gallery in a gallery block, then copied the id numbers into the list manually.
This puts the gallery into a code format that this plugin will recognize and it will automatically convert it after that.
It’s not the most efficient method, and for large galleries will get tedious, but as a stop gap measure, it will work.
