Query String not working when editing an entry

Hi, thank you very much for your nice plugin.

Right now query string is not working when editing an entry. Why? If the entry is writable for editing then query string should work to prepopulate some fields right? I have already checked that query string works fine on the same form when creating a new entry but does not work when editing a previous entry.

Is it supposed to be that way?
