@presse2009,
Yes, ultimate member offers everything you have listed above. You can create a custom registration form and you can create multiple registrations forms. You can create a separate registration form for each role if you want and registered users will have the role based on the form settings.
You can create multiple member directories as well, you can make settings to restrict access to a directory based on role, add filters and search options to the directory.
I hope this answers your question.
@aswingiri I tried the free version and get exactly the results you described. Thank you very much. But what I did not understand yet is:
How to set up a query form when I am logged in as – in my case – a company which searches an artist who met certain criteria – like singer, guitarist, painter – whatever?
So I need a kind of query form which enabes artists to find a company and a company to find artist. Is it possible to build such a query form which showss up when logged in, depending on the role.
Hope, I don’t bother you but is this possible and can you give me a link to the documentation?
Many, many thanks in advance for your time and patience!

@presse2009
You can create a new member directory from wp-admin > ultimate member > Member directories, when creating a member directory you can choose roles on the “User Roles to Display” setting, in your case, its “artists”, from the “Search Options” section you can enable filter and add filters like “singer, guitarist”. These fields will be displayed as options on the filter if you have them added in the user profile form.
After the member directory is set up, you can just copy the shortcode from right hand side of screen and paste it on the page
@aswingiri Wow! Exactly what I need. Many thanks for your help!!! Have a nice weekend
Hi @presse2009
