Product Input Fields – Hidden fields and default content

    Using the product Input fields plugin > is it possible to make the field hidden so that it adds the meta data to the order without the customer seeing. In addition is it possible to have a default value added , at the moment we can only see placeholder.

    We need to add additional meta data to the order lines. Which is pre populated when an order is created

    Hi @schoolsict,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    The plugin doesn’t support hidden fields or setting default values that auto-populate without user input.

    Only placeholders are available, which don’t submit data unless the user enters something.
