Problems with Structured data : wpForo Forum schema markup

Hi,

 wpForo has two Structured Data types:

• QAPage for the Q&A Forum Layout.
• DiscussionForumPosting.

There appears to be an issue with the wpForo Forum schema markup. It affects Structured Data.

Google Search Console has detected that wpForo Forum is affected by issues with structured data (Questions/Answers and Discussion Forum).

The following issues have been detected:

Main issues for Q&A (wpForo):

– Missing “url” field (in “mainEntity.author”)

– Missing “url” field (in “mainEntity.suggestedAnswer.author”)

– Missing “url” field (in “mainEntity.acceptedAnswer.author”)

Main issues for wpForo markup:

– Missing “url” field (in “comment.author”)

– Missing “url” field (in “author”)

Hi @zepolo ,

These are warnings and don’t affect your SEO, so you can ignore them.

The reasons of these warnings are either that you’ve disabled public assess to your user profiles so wpForo cannot put the profile URLs in the structured data or the users of the topics and posts don’t exist, they have been deleted.

In any case the problem is not wpForo problem, you should either make users profile public or restore the deleted users. So I still recommend to ignore these warnings because they are standard warnings for such cases and these cases exit on all forums.
