Problem with custom excerpts

First off, I wanted to share my uttermost gratitude for making this awesome plugin for free. Thank you very much.

Second, although overall functionality is working flawlessly, I have a little problem with getting the custom excerpt to work. For example, please check out the link below for demonstration:

Both two posts have the word includes the search key “karan”. However, I cannot see the custom excerpt. It only shows up the first words of the post. If you actually open up that second result and CTRL + F on the page, you will see that the word “karan” appears somewhere in the middle.

I have already double checked “Create custom search result snippets”. It is checked. I have tried unchecking/rechecking but didn’t help.
