Problem when user cancels recurring monthly subscription

Hi,
I have been happily using Paidmembership Pro for years. It’s an awesome plugin, but there is a problem I need to fix.
Let’s say a user pays for a monthly recurring subscription to access my contents. But he wants to enjoy the susbscription for just a single month. When he cancels the Paypal recurring payment, the plugin automatically cancells his account, so he is not able to access the premium content anymore, when he should be able to do so until the end of the first month.
Is there any way to accomplish that? Or at least prevent the plugin from cancelling the membership automatically? (I could do that manually).
