I have several questions. I just bought the pro version of loading page as I think it is an awesome idea! I set mine up in the settings and I noticed that under the lazy loading settings, it chose a file automatically where it says “Select the image to load by default”. Is that for a foreground or background image? I read the FAQ on it and don’t really understand it. Also when my site loads, the logo that I chose gets cut off on one side. Is this a bug or am I missing a setting, or does it have something to do with the placeholder image? Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Marie Alline

    Hello Marie Alline,

In the lazy loading all images are replaced by an unique image (the image selected through the attribute: “Select the image to load by default”), and then, after loading the website’s content, these tags will load the original images replacing the image used as placeholder. This action increases the loading speed because in the first phase the page does not open multiple connections for loading multiple images (only one image file is loaded from the server and used with all image tags).

But if your website has enabled a lazy loading, maybe with another plugin, or by the theme directly, you should not activate this option in the plugin settings, because our plugin will consider as the original images the image defined as placeholder by the other plugin or theme.

    Best regards.
