Preload function

I have a question:

I use the preload function (in combination with a cron job) with “Restart Preload After Completed” checked.

In the explanation on your website, I read the following:
“If you are using the “Restart Preload After Completed” feature, you should disable the “New Post” option because if the “New Post” option is enabled, the entire cache is cleared when the new post is published and there is no point in using this feature.”

I unchecked “New post” in the Settings correct, right?

So how does that work with “update post” – Clear cache files when a post or page is updated -?

This is not entirely clear to me; should this be checked or unchecked if I use preload?
