Posting without updating

I recently rebuilt my blog using WordPress. The site has been up and running for about 4 months or so. My old blog had a lot of pages and it took me forever to republish them all.

I realized I forgot to publish a few of the post. How do I add those posts without them appearing on the home page as if they were the latest posts? Also, I don’t want my feed subscribers and email subscribers to think I am reposting old content as if they were new so how do I do that without them receiving notification? Really need your help. Thanks!
