When sharing a Webstory url on WhatsApp, No Poster Image & No Story description appear, just the story Title & link. This I believe started after the second last update (if I’m not wrong). As of 10th January 2024 it was working fine… BUT even then it displayed a small image in WhatsApp, compared to a large image earlier.

My WP version is 6.5.5; PHP version 7.4.33 & WhatsApp is updated.
I have tested with ALL plugin deactivated… except Webstores Plugin. I have also tested with another random website link found online (below) and get similar results.

Hello, thank you for reaching out with your topic. I tested the above story in the app and was able to see the story poster image, title, and the meta description. Furthermore, I can see the metadata in your story source code. Whichever SEO plugin you’re using is responsible for the output of all metadata like this. I recommend you reach out to their plugin support about this. Otherwise, you can try your questions at the WhatsApp help center as we are limited to Web Stories plugin support.
