I have installed the free version of the plugin and configured it. Nothing happens when I post from the form (i.e., no response, no post created, etc.). Additionally, I received the following error when hitting the post button:

frontend-form.min.js?ver=5.8.2:1 Uncaught ReferenceError: tinyMCE is not defined
    at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (frontend-form.min.js?ver=5.8.2:1)
    at Function.each (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2)
    at s.fn.init.each (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2)
    at Object.validateForm (frontend-form.min.js?ver=5.8.2:1)
    at HTMLFormElement.formSubmit (frontend-form.min.js?ver=5.8.2:1)
    at HTMLFormElement.dispatch (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2)
    at HTMLFormElement.v.handle (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2)

I have tried to trace the code back, but have so far been unsuccessful. Additionally, I have been able to post when logged in as the Super Admin. This is a multi-site configuration.

    Regards,
    Greg

  • Hello @glschaub

    Thanks for reaching out.

Basically, this type of issue happens for plugin conflict or any custom JS for tinyMCE/Editor. Please revise your site plugin one by one by disabling it to know if there is any plugin conflict or review your codebase with any standard Twenty Twenty like theme.

Moreover, WP User Frontend is not officially multisite-supported. If you install the plugin in network mode, i.e when you install the plugin on the parent site and run in multiple child sites – that will be unavailable. However, you can individually install the plugin in separate subdomains.

    Let me know the update.

Okay, I have done all of this and it is still not working. Specifically, I have

    1. Disabled all plugins except for Really Simple SSL and WP User Frontend
    2. WP User Frontend is now disabled on the network site and enabled on the specific domain only.
    3. Reverted to the Twenty Twenty theme.

Note that this resolved one error, but I still have the following warning

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2

I have verified that my Administrator account can still successfully post, and my Editor role still cannot (role based posts are enabled). The site url is https://family.theschaubs.com.

    A couple of notes:

    • I have turned debug bar and query monitor back on the help me troubleshoot.
    • I do not believe it is possible to install a plugin on the child-site, and I have not done so. Rather, I network deactivated it on the master and then activated it on the child. Please let me know if there is a way to actually install on the child.
    • Have you been able to make any progress on this?

      Regards,
      Greg
