Plugin Workflow too slow

    My workflow:

    -> Select a service
    -> Select Date and Time
    -> Provide contact details
    -> Confirmation

    After selecting the desired service, it takes 15 seconds to move to the next step to choose the date and time. I am not sure what is causing the issue.

    This was not the case before i checked the change order option. My workflow before was by default:

    -> Select Date and Time
    -> Select a service
    -> Provide contact details
    -> Confirmation

    I am not sure what is slowing down. If you feel this is something to do on the server side, i can do the changes or provide you temporary admin access. I have bought the pro version and i like the plugin so much.

    Google Chrome Network tab response

    The above is a screen shot of google chrome network console. It takes 17s to go to the calendar after choosing the service in the first step.

    Have the same problem with incredibly slow loading time between steps in the AJAX version. Looked at your site and problem seems to be solved? Care to share how you solved this?

    Hello,

    In our case we had the maximum days of booking selected to one year. After checking Chrome logs found that the plugin was checking 8 slots x 365 days. So the sql query took 15 seconds to check all the 1 year available slots and get back the values.

    When we changed the maximum number of days you can book to one month, the response was much faster. Also we changed the order of booking, by selecting that in settings.

    Do you mean the option “Change Order” on the page Settings > Booking rules?

    So I changed the “Booking time range” setting on Settings > Booking rules to maximum 1 month and server response time went from 25 seconds to 5 seconds!

    It’s still not perfect but a huge improvement. The previous max setting was “just” 6 months so I can’t imagine the response time for 1 year on our hosting.
