[Plugin: WordPress Access Control] Does not protect blog page

    Hello,

    The newest version of the plugin (3.0.2) supports making an entire blog members only. The option is under Settings > Members Only.

    That’s not what I meant. I do not want to make my whole site members only.

    I created a WP Page, “news”. I set this page to be members only.

    In WP settings > reading, I set static home page and point “blog posts” to the above page.

    When a visitor clicks the menu link for “news”, they are not challenged to enter password — even though that page was set to members only.

    All other pages work as they should.

    In the page editor (just begin editing your page too see it), to the top right of the page, make sure you have the correct options set under “WordPress Access Control” and “Publish”.
