[Plugin: User Access Manager] problem with custom template

Hi,

I’m a noob in WP so I modified the “twentyten” postofpost template page to make it work the way I needed. After that I installed UAM and when I try to protect one page using my template I receive 404.

What I need to do to make it work?
Is there any function that is included in everypage by the plugin that checks if the page is protected and do its magic?
