Plugin updates always shows an updated needed for a drop-in. How do I correct this? I tried deleting the SG Optimizer and reinstalling… no luck. I wonder if I am getting full power of the caching because of this.

There is no new version of the Memcached dropin.

Please, delete the object-cache.php file from your wp-content folder. Then disable and enable Memcached anew from the SG Optimizer plugin. Purge all your caches. If you still see a notification for update that must be some update management plugin that you’re using.

    Site is https://42freeway.com/

At one time I experimented with W3 and disabled SG_Optimizer (W3 offered the ability to not cache page sections, which I needed for a local ad module)… so maybe I got files left over from W3 after deleting it

    Hristo… I’ll try that in a few.

    thank you

Hristo I did as you asked… still shows as Drop-In avail

Funny when I disable SG_Optimizer that object-cache.php goes away. then I activate it, and it comes back again… with the same warning
