[Plugin: Permalink Editor] Permalink Alias Not Working

I’m using version 0.2.12 of Permalink Editor and version 3.1.2 of WordPress.

The Permalink Alias function does not seem to work.

Assume the following. I had a page – http://www.website.com/category/page1

I used the Customise button to change the Permalink to – http://www.website.com/page1 and the I entered category/page1 in the field under Permalink Alias. I updated and saved the page. But the 301 redirect is not working.

When I go to the old Permalink – http://www.website.com/category/page1 it displays fine instead of redirecting to the new Permalink – http://www.website.com/cpage1.

Now the new Permalink does work. It is just the Permalink Alias which is not working.
