In site editor it shows twice a notice about plugin:
“The “instant-images” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be renderer.”

This happens in brand new wp site, several sites!

The plugin works anyway. Just the annoying red notices that it is disturbing!

  • Same issue. Plugin version 5.3.0
    WordPress 6.2, PHP 7.2 or 8.1.

Plugin seems to work fine for selecting and adding image to Media Library.

@mariamorais @lernerconsult Please tell me exactly how to recreate this issue.

I just did the following without success in producing an error.

    1. Create new site – WP 6.2 and Twenty Twenty Three theme
    2. Installed Instant Images
    3. Went to site editor screen.

    No errors appear.

    Thanks,

I do exactly like you did. Create a new site, theme 2023, install plugin.
Go to editor, click one template or site to edit and it shows the notices.
I click the cross to close them, and can navigate in all other templates without it show again. But every time I go to editor and start to edit tadah here they are again!!
So, I do not do anything different than this. I tried several ways, with other plugins installed activated, not activated no other plugins etc etc. Even different browsers. But the weird thing is that there is one ( that it is almost ready) that works just fine. And it is no different from that others I create.
    Headache for you, sorry!!

Nice, thanks @mariamorais Turns out I needed to click into the Edit part of the template.

I have this fixed and a new release incoming later this today.
