Plugin is adding escape character on save if the name contains “‘”

Hi, when adding the stuff member with the name that contains “‘” in the name
like D’Alessio one save your plugin is adding “\” in the name so it’s save d like this
D\’Alessio which is incorrect. Can you please advise what we have to do to avoid this?
