[Plugin: HeadSpace2 SEO] HeadSpace with Magazine Basic theme

I am using the magazine basic theme and I am trying to get headspace2 to work with it, my tags are not showing not even with the categories and pages. I made sure the wp_head and wp_title is being called in the the header.php file and it is. I don’t know what else to do or what I need to do to make it work. I would really like to use this plug in because it seems to be the only one that I can customize the tags and not have them automatically generated. Please help.
