[Plugin: Google Analytics] This plugin does not work

I put in the analytics profile tracker id that I made for one of my websites, and the plugin claims that it is working. However, there is no code that is appearing on my blog page (custom theme), and my Analytics profile says that there have been no visitors (completely false). I also couldn’t find any documentation as to if there is anything extra I need to do to set everything up properly. Until there is better support, I recommend to stay away from this app.
