Random FAQs is a nice widget option, and it can be a nice option to be able to display Q&As from specific topics so that together with something like Widget Logic or other custom widget placement plugin, I can create content rich pages.

this is something most CMSs do not take in mind, but for me, it is all about one page with many content types.

I definitely plan on including more widgets in a future release. At this point, I’m making sure that the other options are rock-solid so that the functionality remains the same.

Also, keep in mind that by enabling shortcodes in text widgets with the following function add_filter( 'widget_text', 'do_shortcode' ); will allow you to use the existing shortcode options for topics / categories.
