Hi @petercopenhagen (Peter),
Could you post the link of your website, so I could take a look at it?
Kind regards,
Remzi
Hi Remzi
Thanks for getting back so quickly.
It’s a little sensitive. Can you give me an email address, where I can email the url to you privately instead? Thanks for your understanding.
Kind regards
Peter
Hi Remzi
I just looked at the header-text-jump problem again-again (for the 100’th time). In Elementor I tried to uncheck the option to stretch the header to full width (which uses JS). And that finally did the trick: No more jumps! YAY!
Check link below to see why is was so frustrating not to score 100 in the Best Practices audit. Thank you very much for your part in this result. It was not possible without your plugin.
KABOOM!
Best of luck with the plugin 🙂
Kind regards
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thank you for your message. I’m glad that everything works again.
Would you write a review? I would be very grateful if you could.
I wish you all the best and good luck with your website/project.
Kind regards,
Remzi
Hi Remzi
Sure, you earned it. My review is awaiting moderation, but should be out soon. You got 7 stars 🙂
Kind regards
Peter
Hi @petercopenhagen
I’m not allowed to post my e-mail address per WP Forum Rules, it’s even not allowed to asked for an e-mail address (but I personally don’t mind).
However on my WordPress profile there is a link to my GitHub profile (Remzi1993) where you will find an e-mail address.
I’m sorry in advance, but I need to point this out. I was almost banned for not abiding by the plugin and forum rules and it was my last strike, so if I do something which is against the rules, I will have serious consequences. So again, I’m sorry that I need to cite this. This is not personally against you or something, I just want to cover all the bases before a mod does something.
Citing WP forum rules:
The Bad Stuff… #
We need to keep the forums friendly, so, occasionally, topic content will be moderated. In severe cases, users may be blocked. This might mean anything from the light editing of some posts to complete removal of topics and deactivation of accounts. It should really go without saying, but the following are likely candidates for moderation or intervention
- Do not post email addresses, ask others to post their email or solicit contacting people off of the forums.
- Do not post login information, even test IDs and test passwords.
- Do not post simply to request feedback on their site.
- Do not post another person’s private information (job, gender, living situation, location, etc).
- Do not ask for any kind of access in order to provide support, not even for plugins or themes.
- Do not harass or abuse people. Do not go to their websites, do not pick out their home addresses, phone numbers, Twitter ID, Skype ID, Facebook, any social media accounts or ways to contact them and use it to ask for support. Only use contact methods explicitly given.
- Do not abuse the ‘Report this topic’ or ‘modlook’ system.
- Do not post spam and affiliate links, offensive posts, posts without content, or flames.
- Do not post in all caps.
- Do not ask for help regarding premium themes/plugins.
- Do not abuse the @<name> mentions, they are not a tool to get faster responses.
- Do not seek legal advice on the forums: We are not lawyers, and if we were we would then open our selves to liabilities.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Every post is judged on its own merits.
And that’s all. Enjoy your stay at the forums! Oh.. And, when you’re done, please mark your topic as “Resolved”. Thanks.
Again, I’m required to do this. If you need any assistance seek me out trough the proper channels or find me on GitHub, Twitter or LinkedIn. See my WordPress profile for more information.
Kind regards,
Remzi
