[Plugin: BackUpWordPress] daily?

I see in the documentation that backupwordpress makes a backup every DAY. Can the plugin be set to make backups on a different schedule, like weekly? Or is this something that will be included in future versions?

And is it possible to leave the backups on the server where I can FTP them to another place myself? So the question is: can I disable the e-mail function?
