Pleasantly surprised!

Feeling stuck and constrained by your present WP theme? Get out of the rut with Ocean WP! Intelligently featured, and perfect for beginners and pros alike! So I had to stop and write this review before going back to work.
I know it sounds like an infomercial, but eh, I have been having issues customizing a site for a client, I was never satisfied with the limited and limiting options, creating more headaches and Google navigation I was ready for. And it stalled me in the development of the project. Frustrating.
After seeing Ocean mentioned in a video review of Elementor (which I did NOT get or need at this point) I installed Ocean WP. Yes, the customizer takes a bit long to load the whole toolbox behind it, but once it is done I open the site in two separate windows, one for the admin panel to do my content edits, and one for the live site to refresh and see the results.
My workflow is greatly increased this way. 3 Pages I go back and forth to and from:
Customizer – WP Admin panel – Live siteWith the help of Ocean WP support and their documentation (unlike many themes, they have a well organized, SEARCHABLE, documentation section which I will certainly continue testing), I found I was able to quickly navigate to where I needed to and affect the look and feel of the homepage.
Make sure you install the recommended plugin “Ocean Extra,” though. Once you do, it will sit below the text editor window on every post and page and give you even more intelligent options to refine the look and feel and functionality of your site, without needing to access the Customizer!
Ocean WP is well-developed theme, chuck-full of goodies, which can be a bit overwhelming to start with (new landscape require adaptation). However, as someone who has worked with the Genesis framework for years (still love it but it didn’t work for this project’s needs), and a few ThemeForest and TemplateMonster themes (a lot of nonsense going on with a few themes I got from these) – Ocean WP is a no-brainer!!
Bravo! to the developers, I’m sure there are more features I’ll discover as my needs grow, and maybe I will need to get the PRO version at some point, and if I do I will not hesitate long.
All the best!
